Your kids will love you even more for moving to a place with all this great stuff

If you’re thinking about moving, it may be related to your kids. It could be because you have a new addition to the family and your home just isn’t big enough anymore. Or maybe you’re looking for a better school system. Perhaps you’re in an apartment and you are hoping to give your children their own backyard. No matter the reason, you, of course, want the best for your family, which is why the home you choose is important, and the location is too.

It’s a great idea to pick a city that offers a lot of fun family activities. In this regard, Naples fits the bill perfectly. In addition to the great weather that enables outdoor play year-round, Naples has some of the best beaches in the U.S. But that’s not all. Here are some other attractions that make the city ideal for kids:

Golisano Children’s Museum of Naples

So much of the Golisano Children’s Museum is hands-on, and kids will have a blast exploring all of the many exhibits, splashing around in the water play station, and even climbing a life-like banyan tree. There are also many opportunities for kids to learn about weather, vocations, nature, and more.

Naples Zoo at the Caribbean

Gardens At only 52 acres, the Naples Zoo may be small, but it’s jam-packed with tons of exotic animals, such as bears, lions, and alligators. There’s even a boat cruise that goes to an island swarming with monkeys and lemurs. There are also daily shows and presentations and a play area for toddlers.

Corkscrew Swamp

Naples doesn’t just have excellent beaches; the wetlands are pretty special too. Corkscrew Swamp is a National Audubon Society sanctuary, so you know you’re going to see some amazing birds. There’s a 2.5-mile boardwalk that winds its way through different ecosystems, including wet prairie, marshes, and pine flatwoods. In addition to a wide variety of birds, there are also other animals to spot, like otters, turtles, and deer.

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon

On those extra hot days, all you need to do is take the family down to Sun-N-Fun Lagoon to cool off. The park contains four pools, a lazy river, and several water slides. And so your real little ones don’t miss out, there’s a pint-sized pool just for them.

Lowdermilk Park

If you and your family enjoy having picnics, Lowdermilk Park is for you. This gorgeous beach-front park has gazebos, several benches, and a duck pond. And if your aim is to do more than just relax, there are also two playgrounds and sand volleyball courts.
