You’d be happy to call any of these spots home
When someone is planning to move – be it in their current town or across the country – they of course only want to live in the best area of the city. But what constitutes “the best” is really up to the individual person.
If somebody loves spending time outdoors, for example, their ideal neighborhood is probably one filled with trees and parks. The person who enjoys shopping and dining out will almost certainly want to live close to the center of a city.
The great news when it comes to Naples is that there really is something for everyone, and there is little difficulty finding an excellent corner to call home. But if you are truly looking for some of the best of the best, you should consider these five neighborhoods:
For those who like nothing better than grabbing their clubs and heading out to play a round of golf, the delightfully named Bear’s Paw is the perfect neighborhood. The gated community consists of several varieties of a single-family home, along with villas and condos, that surround a gorgeous golf course designed by the one and only Jack Nicklaus.
As the name suggests, Aqualane Shores is a waterfront community characterized by deep canals. This neighborhood is popular because it is close to numerous stores and restaurants, as well as the Gulf of Mexico. Another nice feature of the neighborhood is that there’s a volunteer Homeowner’s Association started by residents.
An excellent mix of new and old, Old Naples is comprised of both modern houses and those that date back over 100 years. There is also lush tropical landscaping plus easy access to nearby shops and other amenities.
Homes in Port Royal look more like vacation retreats than everyday residences, which is one of the reasons it is a very desirable neighborhood. Boat owners, in particular, love Port Royal because several of the houses come with their own private docks, and there are many inland waterways that lead to the Gulf of Mexico. There is also the Port Royal Club, which is exclusively for Port Royal residents.
With homes situated on Moorings Bay and the Gulf of Mexico, Coquina Sands has some of the prettiest views in all of Naples. The neighborhood is also known for its exquisite landscaping and the nearby schools and shopping.
The descriptions above really don’t do these neighborhoods justice; you have to see them in person to discover how amazing they are. And to do that, just get in touch with Dante Disabato.
